LIZ KELSH

Max Factor's Make-up Artist

Liz Kelsh is one of Australia’s most established makeup artists. Kelsh’s fascination started as a young girl in Ireland with her curious enchantment with her grandmother’s dressing table, a Pandora’s Box of colour. After relocating in Australia and while having no formal make up training, her career breakthrough came when she set her sights high and endeavoured to work alongside the makeup greats, Pat McGrath and Val Garland in Paris and Milan Fashion week in the early nineties. From this coveted experience, Kelsh’s platform of work was catapulted into the Australian Fashion arena twofold.

Along came her first celebrity client, Australia’s break out star of the time Nicole Kidman. Having firmly established her place alongside international contemporaries for the last 2 decades, her experience spans from John Galliano, Stella McCartney to Robert Cavalli.

Her gracious persona and stand out talent has seen Kelsh work with celebrity giants such as Jennifer Anniston, Cate Blanchett, Hugh Jackman, Vanessa Hudgens and Kim Catrell to name but a few. Kelsh’s diversity is what makes her work stand out, from her collaborations in publications such as UK Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Russh, Madison and InStyle.
